4th IEEE International Conference on BioInspired Processing, BIP 2022

San Marcos de Tarrazú, San José, Costa Rica

November 15th to 17th

The 2022 4th IEEE International Conference on BioInspired Processing (BIP) is an event specialized in computational application to natural sciences and biologically inspired computational sciences. In 2022, the conference will be hosted by the Universidad Estatal a Distancia of Costa Rica at San Marcos de Tarrazú, Costa Rica, from November 15th to 17th. BIP encourages authors in these areas to submit their original work for conference consideration.

Purpose

BIP originated as an effort to leverage a tradition in Costa Rica that promotes high-level international scientific research related to natural sciences. In part, this is due to the rich biodiversity of the country, the national system of conservation areas, and the local human and technical resources to develop this research. Also there is expertise in the country on zoological, population or related aspects (animal species, biodiversity, antiophidic serums research, etc.), microbiology, molecular biology and other areas in natural sciences.

These areas require the introduction of techniques and resources from the fields of engineering and exact sciences (high-performance computing, mathematical modeling, signal processing, among others). The evolution of these last disciplines, in Costa Rica, has resulted in the need for a scientific congress that brings together national researchers in the field, putting them in contact with the international community working at the highest level on these same problems.
